We invite you to discover a rare and exceptional fruit
from the Alpujarra region, in Andalusia, in the deep south of Spain.

Andalusian wild figs grow on the slopes of the Alpujarras, as they have done in the wild for generations,
on small family-owned plots called “cortijos”.

Welcome to Andalousia

In the heart of the Alpujarras

The Andalusian Wild Fig is a small, natural fig grown only in the Alpujarra mountains in Andalusia.
The breath-taking mountains and valleys of the Alpujarras are known for their natural beauty and ecological diversity. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain (culminating in a peak of 3482m), the Alpujarra region stretches from Granada in the north to the shores of the Mediterranean in the south.
Here in these mountains, the air is the purest in Europe and thanks to the altitude it never gets as hot up here as it does down on the coast.
